gotta write it down | or else you’ll never repeat | create principles

Today’s haiku was inspired by Ray Dalio’s book “Principles” I listened to the book over the weekend and this week I’ve been studying it and determining how to use the lessons Ray is sharing with us in the book. On of the lessons that is important for all of us to remember that if you just read the book ,any book, and then don’t take lessons from it and apply them then whether it was fiction or non fiction the book was simply entertainment…

This morning on the way to work I listened to an interview Tony Robbins did with Ray when the book was released, and Ray talked about his methods for developing the Principles in the book. He said that whenever he made a decision he would write down his rational, his criteria for making the decision. This way decisions that turned out good could be repeated when the circumstances repeated.
